Since we were awarded this initiation grant to take this trip I've been using my 35 minute walks out to the university to listen to books about India and Nepal. Easier than bringing 900 some page Shantaram (best-
seller) along...
The big impression goes to of course Partition. And no, I never learned about that in school and apparently neither do many kids anywhere. Change that- is the short version on my thoughts about that. And we think 2015 was a massive migration year... right.
Incidentally the anniversary last year (1947-2017) was an opportunity for Air India to start up direct flights from Stockholm to New Delhi.
